I wonder if anyone realized the precise--shite--state our little world was in under the former administration.
One thing fixed, another unravels, with another waiting in the wings to take its place. and it's been that way since day one. Of course I expected problems, but this is ridiculous.
I haven't had a bloody minute's peace this week, what with buggers breathing down my neck at every turn. Comes with the territory, I suppose, and I will not openly voice this, but hell--
I'm exhausted. Mentally.

Love, the holiday we've planned--I think we should put it off for a bit, at least until after the charity event. There is far too much piling up at the Ministry, and I don't think I would be able to relax properly knowing that the pile had only grown while we were away.
What do you think?

Do you live here anymore?
Just wondering.

My wife is somewhere in that maze of a house we own, lost to me at the present...and I am outside in the gardens getting pissed. This week was bloody fucking awful and long, so very, very long.
The two of you should join me.

I've noticed there are many of you that are quite vocal in expressing your displeasure with my appointment as Minister for Magic as well as the new law that will be going into affect on Monday.
Last night, I had every intention of responding to each entry individually today, but more have been added and it will be far too difficult to keep up with responses that way.
Short of calling a public meeting which would likely go on for days, I believe our journals are the best way, for now, for you to address your concerns.
So, here I am, speak up! Questions, concerns, comments--I will answer what I can, however I will not sacrifice my family's privacy for any reason.
Perhaps none of you will take me up on this, and that's fine, it's your choice. But I don't want it said that I didn't give everyone an equal chance to be heard.
